What I think...

I think the American Dream only applies to those whom
actually believe in it. You may think I'm a cynic or pessimist,
but I'm not, I just don't believe in the 'American Dream.'

To me the American Dream says that everyone has the
same dream, but I don't have the same dream as, say Hanah or
Koleen. I have my own dream. I don't relate me dreams to the
American Dream because it creates a clique, there are those
who have the American Dream and there are those who simply
get through life without any dreams. I don't like to be grouped
with people, that's why I don't believe in the 'American Dream.'

However, I do believe in dreams and following those dreams. I
think it's healthy to have dreams and want to follow them, and I
encourage everyone to have a dream. And, if his or hers dream
is the 'American Dream', then I will be very happy for that person
because at least they are aiming for something good!
