The [what's so] Great [about] Gatsby [?]

I honestly really enjoyed this movie, even though I initially didn't think I would.
So, let me talk about my view of these crazy, beloved charachers.
At first, I simply thought Daisy was a materialistic, childish rich girl. As the movie progressed, however, I began to sympathise with her a bit. I do think Daisy was in love with Jay, and Jay with her. Love causes people to do some crazy things!
Nick was really the only consistent character throughout this film, and I found myself often thinking "he's probably my favorite." Nick truly was the only character who wasn't obsessed with riches or trophy wives. He was happy with his life, and I respect that.
Jay (aside from being a cutie-pie) was definitely a bit mysterious. I never knew what Jay would do next. The only sure thing about him seemed to be his love of Daisy. Although, I still don't understand what's so great about him. *shrugs*
The only character I didn't truly understand was Jordan. I have yet to figure out what her role was in this movie.
Overall, I think the movie was very intriguing and I really enjoyed watching it. :]
