So in my head I wanted to do something totally different and out there to show my faith and the day I got saved, so this is what I came up with. I decided to write an obituary for the death of my unsaved self to the new life I have in Christ. I would love comments on if it portray what I would like it to or your opinion. Please be honest, no matter what.
-In Memory of-
Sara Beth Webb
Mt. Vernon- Sara Beth Webb of Mt. Vernon, 8, received her name in the Book of Life, when her old flesh died and a new life was given. The old flesh died at the altar, on her knees in prayer, when Sara surrendered herself to the power of Christ’s loving grace.
Sara Beth Webb was born February 22, 1991, in Branson, Missouri, the daughter of James and Katherine Webb, loving stepmother, Robyn, and caring brothers, Luke, Adam, and Mark.
She was a child who was independent, selfish, and spoiled. She enjoyed being the only girl and getting all new toys and clothes for herself. She wanted her way and sometimes had trouble with obedience. Being a speaker of what was on her mind, She spoke words even if they hurt others.
Her old flesh was preceded in death with those of her parents, James, Katherine, and Robyn Webb, and her brothers, Luke, Adam, and Mark. Nothing could separate the family from the love of Christ and the dream to be together today in Heaven’s Book of Life.
Although her old life was happy, it will never amount to the love and joy she has now in Christ. She is not perfect, but every day is a new day full of mercy and grace given by the Heavenly Father that loves more than anyone. Her Heavenly Father is an influence none can compare and is renewing her life daily. No one will forget the selfless act of God, by sending his son to die on the cross so Sara can live today with forgiveness and a new outlook on life. A service in Sara’s salvation will be held daily in the life she lives, and under the ministry at Freedom Christian Center, with Pastor Tony and Christi Swillum officiating.

I liked your idea for using an obituary. That's pretty original. I also liked that you said who was officiating and your survivors;it made it sound real. Nice work!
