My Confessional Poem

Be as critical as you wish! I'll soon be adding another stanza as well.
These Are My Confessions
(as said by Usher)

I burned the bully
wanted no trouble
lied to my teacher
lied to my mother
I wanted the lacrosse ball
pretended it was lost
after everyone was gone
I grabbed it for myself

Caught a big frog
tried using him as bait
fish wouldn't eat him
so I did
I went trick-or-treating
The man was giving lots of candy
I changed my mask
and returned continuously.

  1. I don't know why, but I really like the repetition in the first stanza..."like to my teacher/ lied to my mother." Could you use that same style somewhere else in the poem? Maybe in your third stanza?
